Isn't it funny how the needle makers give you five, sometimes six, double pointed needles, yet most sock knitting patterns only call for the use of four? 

It's not a coincidence! I am sure I am not alone when I say..those little blighters grow legs and wander off as soon as the baby cries, the dog needs to be let out or the doorbell rings! But where do they wander to? Down...down into the depths of the edge of the sofa- never to be seen again! 

Well, I am putting a stop to the wandering of needles and the delving of my hands down the side of the sofa only to find four month old Wotsits.
